The first-time homebuyer tax credit and the repeat homebuyer tax credit will no longer be available at the end of April. Anyone looking to take advantage of this program and use one of the tax credits will have to be under contract on a home by April 30th and close on a home by June 30th to qualify.
Real Estate Stimulus has helped many homeowners who were unsure about purchasing a new home or unwilling because of the cost, move into a new house with a tax credit following. There are homes that are available at the present time that are selling for low costs and with mortgage rates at a such a low, this offer is helping countless homebuyers.
Those who were able to avoid financial loss or job loss troubles during the recession are able to take advantage of this first-time homebuyer tax credit or the repeat homebuyer tax credit to the sum of $8,000 for first-time buyers and $6,500 for repeat buyers.
Along with the tax credit, low interest rates, and low costs on homes, many people are finding they are able to purchase a home for less or equal value than renting an apartment.
